Julie and Romeo
Originally created for Ottawa Public Library’s film contest, the film introduces a book called ‘Julie and Romeo’ by Jeanne Gray. The film plays with a concept of the popping of popcorns to creatively depict the generational enmity between two rival florist families, the Cacciamani and the Roseman.
‘Lucky-go-Happy’ is an original experimental stop-motion film about an enigmatic journey. The chunky transitions in each cut could be better appreciated by creative adjustments of camera angle and movement.
